This an exciting opportunity to join Runnymede Borough Council as we continue our positive work in delivering a Local Land Charges Service. As the Local Land Charges Manager, you will:
- To direct and undertake immediate supervision of the work of staff who make up the Local Land Charges team.
- To utilise the Local Land Charges Geographic System to data capture/maintain, both spatially and textually, all new and existing Registrations and Departmental Data.
- To process Search requests from start to finish within the time allowed by the Council by transferring data both spatially and textually from the records maintained to the appropriate medium for responding to a search request.
- To establish, document and review working procedures in accordance with changing work patterns and to ensure all staff are aware of any new procedures.
- To identify and provide training and development needs for the section and ensure that appropriate and timely training takes place.
- To identify and project manage the implementation of any new requirements to the Local Land Charges Service/ System/ Office.
- To keep up to date with any new developments in Local Land Charges by attending any relevant meetings/courses/conferences.

We are looking for an individual with good customer service skills to join our team who can provide a high quality service to the public . We are looking for exceptional candidates with a range of skills including:
- Detailed knowledge of the legislation relating to Local Land Charges
- Knowledge of using computer software systems relating to Local Land Charges.
- Knowledge of using a Geographic Information System
- Recent experience of working in the delivery of a Local Land Charges service
- Recent experience of using a Geographic Information System Recent experience of using Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy
