Director, Relationship Management - Client Success
ADP is hiring a Director, Relationship Management - Client Success in the New England territory (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT).
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop a team of Relationship Managers, focusing on retention, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and other key metrics.
- Coach associates, invest in their development, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver client success.
- Build and maintain relationships across ADP and with clients; support critical client needs and advocate for the team.
- Shape overall client retention strategy for the market and the business.
- Monitor business metrics, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and balance field and remote work as needed.
Responsibilities
- Grow the business by renewing and upselling within assigned geography and driving client loyalty.
- Develop associates by identifying strengths and providing tools to navigate challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement by listening to customers and associates and pursuing better ways to operate.
- Collaborate as a trusted advisor to internal partners and clients, maintaining high ethical standards and fostering strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Location requirement: located in the New England area; travel to CT, ME, MA, NH, RI or VT (preferably MA).
- Experience leading people directly or indirectly for 5+ years, with a record of improvement and productivity.
- 8+ years of client-facing experience; leadership experience preferred.
- Travel up to 30%; ability to manage time, prioritize, and communicate clearly in various formats.
- Hybrid work model (field/remote).
- College degree optional; relevant experience and skills considered in lieu of degree.

- Strong client relationship-building skills; learning agility and critical thinking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of ADP HR, Payroll, and Benefits policies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: USD $98,000.00 – USD $ per year; actual compensation may vary by location, skills, and experience.
