8A Service Manager Epsom CMHRS (NMC, HCPC, SWE)

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Service Manager to lead the Epsom Community Mental Health Service team. The role focuses on achieving excellent outcomes for service users and their carers through partnership working, strategic direction, and adherence to the Trust’s clinical strategy.

• Overall continuous management of the service, coordinating roles, responsibilities and resources.
• Ensure the necessary systems and protocols are in place, understood, and followed across the service.
• Provide line management, including staff performance management, performance reviews and annual performance appraisals.
• Set, monitor and report on delivery of targets, internal and external data requirements and quality data.
• Ensure all staff complete statutory and mandatory training.
• Manage the portfolio of service budgets, achieving financial targets and implementing agreed cost‑improvement plans.
• Provide cover in the absence of the Associate Director.
• Ensure appropriate and timely transfer of care between services.
• Facilitate regular caseload reviews, guiding staff to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
• Oversee risk management and health & safety in the workplace.
