About The Team

Dash Mart is Door Dash’s in‑house convenience and grocery operation, built to get customers the items they need—fast with high quality. Dash Marts function as micro fulfillment centers that power on‑demand delivery of snacks, groceries, household essentials, flowers and so much more through the Door Dash app. We showcase both national brands and local favorites as part of our selection across the country.

About

The Role

We are looking for an experienced operator to lead a region of our Dash Mart business across multiple markets east of the Mississippi. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a subset of markets, owning and growing the P&L, leading a team directly and indirectly of both salaried and hourly employees and driving growth and quality improvements to how Dash Marts operate day in and day out.

You will work cross‑functionally across local operators, finance, strategy & operations, supply, product and more to delight customers in local markets and drive results for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Operate: succeed by learning the fulfillment operations, identifying areas for improvement, learning from experts and experimenting before scaling.
  • Lead: recruit, lead, develop and retain a team of 500+ operators (salaried & hourly).
  • Manage: own the financial vision for Dash Mart in your region, guide growth and directly manage the P&L across 30+ sites at any given time.
  • Collaborate: work with multiple teams including local operations, finance, people, product, design, and supply chain on a wide range of initiatives.
  • Reimagine: challenge the status quo and refine how daily operations work, driving warehouse improvements through process, technology and people development.
Qualifications
  • You’re an operator comfortable getting into the weeds at the lowest level while thinking long‑term and inspiring a team.
  • You’re a leader who makes room for others at the table, carries a culture, and starts with tone.
  • You’re a collaborator, excited to work side by side with hourly associates, finance partners, and technical teams.
  • You see the glass half‑full, own outcomes, positively shape metrics, and have a growth mindset that isn’t deterred by setbacks.
  • You have 8+ years of professional experience; retail, military, warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics experience is highly preferred.
  • You have 4+ years of experience in people management and exposure to managing both hourly & salaried teams.
  • You’re open to travel; this role requires 30%+ travel time.
  • BA/BS degree required.
