Job Description
A public sector organisation based in Leeds is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the development and delivery of strategic and complex commercial projects. This is a key leadership role within our Corporate and Commercial Services Management Team, responsible for driving best practice, ensuring compliance, and delivering value for money across a diverse portfolio.
As Commercial Manager, you will provide expert advice on a wide range of commercial issues, manage stakeholder engagement, and lead on category strategy development. You will also play a proactive role in shaping systems and processes that support our vision and objectives.
The role is based in Leeds with hybrid working available (2 days per week in the office, 3 days working from home) with a salary of £49,359 plus excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver strategic procurement and contract management projects, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Provide commercial expertise and leadership across category areas.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, understanding needs and delivering solutions that add value.
- Develop and implement category management strategies.
