Travel: 50% or more, as needed, throughout New England / Upstate New York market area.

Opportunity to work from home, on average, one day per week (typically Friday), as business permits.
Manages the productivity, financial and overall performance of multiple recycling operating units. Ensures Operating Units meet and/or exceed annual objectives and successfully implements organizational initiatives. Collaborates with various functional and MRF managers to identify, evaluate and coordinate operations improvements and replicate best practices across recycling facilities in the market area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide operations support to material recycling facilities (MRFs) in the Market Area.
- Work closely with the Operations Director and MRF managers to identify operational challenges and implement best practices for improvement.
- Partner with Managers to analyze productivity performance, develop and implement continuous improvement plans.
- Work directly with EH&S and MRF Managers to ensure safe operations across all recycling facilities.
- Promote MA, BU, Site, and LOB benchmarks, assisting Managers in labor management planning (LMT).
- Coordinate and coach Operating Standards Guidelines (OSG) processes.
- Partner with others (Pricing, Sales, etc.) to analyze pricing & customer profitability, coordinating appropriate corrective actions.
- Introduce and coach fundamentals of Business Improvement Program (BIP), evaluating current operating processes and assisting with priority process improvements.
- Facilitate budget planning; analyze year‑to‑date data versus prior year and budget.
- Complete Economic Justification Models to support capital improvements.
- Support Standard Operating Procedures for recycling operations.
- Work directly with facility management to conduct periodic operational and financial reviews, including maintenance, labor, and revenue.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited).
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 7 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years as an Industrial Engineer or Project Manager in a manufacturing environment and/or 3 years in Operations, District Management, or related industry.
- Experience leading multi‑site operations and managing large teams.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of recycling or waste management processes.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50%+ within New England / Upstate New York.

CompensationExpected base pay range for this office/on‑site position is $115,000 – $150,000. This range represents a good‑faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
