The Position:
We are seeking a Senior Property Manager to plan, implement, monitor, and supervise portfolio/site-based property management staff. The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Property Management, Social Services, Human Services, Public Administration, or related fields
- May substitute an additional four years of relevant work experience for the degree.
- Six years of experience in residential property management.
What will you do?
- Develop strong connections and relationships with residents aligned with the goals of the portfolio.
- Develop and manage operational plans and budgets for the portfolio/site.
- Act as the owner liaison between SHA and private management companies contracted to manage SHA properties.
- Create and oversee marketing strategies and budgets to attract low and moderate-income families and individuals.
- Plan, facilitate, and approve repairs and improvements.
- Oversee procurement activities for the assigned portfolio.
- Evaluate maintenance and repair programs regularly and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Supervise lease negotiations and compliance efforts for commercial and community facilities.
- Supervise program staff.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the Property Management Administrator.
- Manage safety and health programs, ensuring staff accountability for accident prevention and reporting.
