Program / Project Manager
Are you passionate about supporting future civil engineers and building strong student communities? The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking a dedicated Manager, Chi Epsilon to lead the operational integration and ongoing management of the Chi Epsilon Honor Society within ASCE's Student Programs portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to shape a new program, engage with students nationwide, and contribute to the growth of the profession.
WhatYou'll Do
As Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the success of ASCE's Chi Epsilon program. You will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure seamless integration with ASCE Student Chapters
- Develop and maintain program policies, systems, and communication strategies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty advisors, and volunteers
- Manage program logistics, including regalia orders, scholarships, and event coordination
- Maintain accurate member data and ensure compliance with ASCE standards
- Represent Chi Epsilon at ASCE events and deliver training programs virtually and in person
- Bachelor's degree in education, communications, business, marketing, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in association management, higher education, or similar environment
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with web content management
- Experience in community building and event planning; knowledge of civil engineering education a plus
Based in Reston, VA, this position has hybrid work from home flexibility in the Northern VA/DC Metro area and requires occasional travel for conferences and events. Submissions of interest must contain cover letter and resume.
