Reports To: VP of Warehouse

Respire Homecare Services is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Manager, Operations to oversee warehouse and distribution operations across multiple locations. This leader will manage people, processes, and performance to ensure efficient, compliant, and high‑quality delivery of home medical equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on operational leader with strong logistics expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management of department staff
• Provide direct leadership to HME Technicians, Equipment Technicians, Asset Technicians, and Bio Med Technicians
• Coordinate annual performance evaluations
• Manage on‑call scheduling in accordance with company policy
• Review and approve payroll for department team members
• Foster communication and collaboration across branch warehouses

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Manage and correct order errors prior to confirmation
• Coordinate routing, scheduling, delivery, and pickup of home medical equipment using internal teams and third‑party couriers (UDS, Fed Ex, UPS, Health Ex, etc.)
• Oversee vehicle inventory, organization, maintenance, and repairs
• Manage equipment and supply transfers between branch locations
• Ensure accurate equipment tracking, serial number integrity, lot tracking, recalls, and maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain efficient processes, appropriate inventory levels, and proper setup across all local and remote warehouses

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
• Complete and analyze management and operational reports to drive performance improvements
• Participate in surveys and inspections conducted by authorized agencies
• Report safety concerns, equipment hazards, product incidents, or unethical behavior promptly

• Resolve client and patient concerns related to equipment distribution or elevate as appropriate
• Represent Advent Home Medical in a professional, courteous manner at all times
• Attend scheduled and unscheduled meetings as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP of Warehouse & Distribution

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in DME homecare preferred

• 5+ years of warehouse and/or transportation operations experience in a high‑volume environment
• 5+ years of leadership and team management experience
• Experience managing subcontracted logistics service providers
• Extensive experience leading warehouse and distribution operations

• Strong knowledge of WMS, ERP, and other operational systems
• Proven ability to implement and optimize operational processes
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
• Detail‑oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to motivate teams and resolve workplace conflicts
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time

• Office‑based and/or remote work environment
• Regular use of standard office equipment
• Exposure to warehouse and distribution environments

• Primarily sedentary with occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
