If you are passionate about helping people, skilled in guiding customers to better manage their homes, and eager to develop your skills and experience further, consider applying for this position within our team.
As a neighbourhood coach, you’ll work independently to manage a patch of around two hundred homes, ensuring the properties are well maintained, customers are aware of their responsibilities, and offering coaching and guidance.
Day to day you will manage tenancy sign ups and changes, anti‑social behaviour and safeguarding, as well as court work and evictions where necessary. You’ll adopt a holistic customer approach and build strong relationships with services in the local community, positively impacting the lives of our customers.
Working closely with our maintenance and lettings teams, you’ll ensure we allocate empty homes effectively, manage customers’ expectations around repairs, and appropriately escalated any property maintenance issues.
To be successful, you will need to genuinely care about people, possess resilience, and have experience managing a busy, varied workload. Self‑starters who communicate well will thrive, as will those who are curious and unafraid of difficult conversations. This role is full‑time and subject to an enhanced DBS check. You’ll travel to and from surrounding areas as required, and regular home working is available.
Youwill be someone who:
- Has experience working in a customer‑facing role, ideally within housing management.
- Strives to achieve performance targets, maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Is tenacious and resilient – who does what it takes to achieve the right outcome.
- Sees the best in people and has the capacity to coach.
- Has a reputation for first‑rate influencing, negotiating and relationship‑building skills.
- Has access to a vehicle and a full driving licence.
