Job Summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. The Project Manager supports the Senior Program Manager and other Project Managers in planning and execution of the Netherlands Development program elements. This role monitors, manages, and coordinates cross‑functional projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

The Project Manager also helps develop proposals to support the program.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Program Manager on projects and contract proposals requested by the customer.
  • Collaborate and assist with development of project plans and manage resources to ensure project or proposal cost, schedule, and performance (quality) are achieved.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and present results to the project management team and/or management.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels concerning projects.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities on the program and expansion of existing business opportunities.
  • Administer and execute policies, processes, and procedures that impact the assigned project.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulations.
  • Identify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet program commitments and customer objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist a retrofit effort of existing UAS systems and hardware at customer locations, ensuring mod kits are completed, DD250’d, and packaged for shipment.
  • Support development of new aircraft software through SIL, ground test, and flight test; manage schedules, resources, and IMS; coordinate test activities; track and manage costs.
  • Assist in development and integration of new payloads into the aircraft configuration.
  • Ensure work is accomplished safely and in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in business administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in project administration, with at least three years in project management (education may be substituted with equivalent experience).
  • In-depth understanding of project management processes, planning, scheduling, and budget management; ability to organize and coordinate workloads to meet milestones and budgets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio), knowledge of statistical techniques and software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking skills; ability to make sound decisions under uncertainty.
  • Experience with software and hardware development programs, US government proposals and contracts, and working on‑site at customer locations.
  • Familiarity with GA Finance processes is preferred.
Job Type and Salary
  • Full‑Time Salary: 90, per year.
