Hoyle Tanner has an opportunity for an individual with 10-15 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in our Ground Transportation Division. This senior position involves leading projects from start to finish, mentoring team members, pursuing additional projects, and developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. There is potential for this role to evolve into a business development position, leveraging your technical skills.

Located on the Pease International Trade port, our modern Portsmouth office offers views of arriving and departing planes.

• Lead and manage transportation engineering projects from inception to completion
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Monitor resources and manage projects to meet contractual, scope, budget, and schedule requirements, utilizing tools like Deltek
• Build and lead a qualified project team to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
• Provide excellent client service and technical guidance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
• Achieve strong financial performance for the company
• Maintain team engagement and collaborate effectively with subconsultants and other disciplines
• Resolve personnel conflicts in partnership with supervisors
• Contribute to project pursuits and proposal development
• Manage invoicing and accounts receivable
• Develop and oversee quality management plans
• Inform Principal-In-Charge of potential claims or risks and collaborate on resolutions
• Provide coaching and mentorship to other project managers

• BS or MS degree (preferred)
• PE License in one or more New England States
• 15+ years of engineering or planning experience with leadership responsibilities
• At least 5 years of project management experience
• Strong communication, financial, scheduling, and client management skills
• Salary based on experience
