Hoyle Tanner has an opportunity for an individual with 10-15 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in our Ground Transportation Division. This senior position involves leading projects from start to finish, mentoring team members, pursuing additional projects, and developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. The role may also lead to business development opportunities, utilizing your technical skills.

Location:
Manchester, NH

Our office is located in Manchester’s historic mill yard, in a 30,000 sq ft space on the 5th floor of the original Amory Mill, blending historic charm with modern design.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage transportation engineering projects from inception to completion

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets

Monitor resources to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule, using management tools like Deltek

Assemble and lead qualified project teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget

Provide excellent client service and technical guidance

Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations

Achieve strong financial performance

Foster team engagement and collaboration

Resolve personnel conflicts in collaboration with supervisors

Lead pursuit efforts and develop proposals

Manage invoicing and accounts receivable

Develop and monitor quality management plans

Inform Principal-In-Charge of potential risks and claims

Coach and mentor other project managers

Requirements

BS or MS degree (preferred)
PE License in one or more New England States
15+ years of engineering or planning experience with leadership roles
At least 5 years of project management experience
Strong communication, financial, scheduling, and client management skills
Salary depends on experience
