REMOTE - Senior Managing Director - Global Advisory Captive Insurance role at Huntington National Bank. The Senior Managing Director – Captive Insurance Banking is responsible for the oversight and growth of the business, emphasizing the sale of letters of credit, trust and investment management products in the captive insurance space. The candidate will provide strategic leadership, foster client relationships, manage financial performance, mitigate risks, and develop a high-performing team.

• Develop and implement the division's strategic plans and initiatives, aligning them with the organization s goals and emphasizing comprehensive customer solutions through the sale of letters of credit, trust and investment management products in the captive insurance space.
• Provide strong leadership to banking teams, setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, specialty, and government clients.
• Identify opportunities for business development and cross-selling of banking products and services. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Manage the division s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Monitor key financial metrics and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• Implement robust risk management practices to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate potential risks.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls and processes to safeguard the bank s assets.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of banking professionals. Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape.
• Use market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative banking solutions for clients.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of banking services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance-related field
• 15+ years of industry-specific experience
• 10+ years leading teams
• 10+ years of risk management experience

• 10+ years Captive Insurance Banking experience including sale of letters of credit, trust and investment management products in the captive insurance space
• 10+ years of financial performance experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
