Description

Hoyle Tanner is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to provide leadership for our team and customers for our municipal infrastructure projects. You will be the focal point for the financials, outstanding customer service, developing potential projects and all aspects of project management. This position is for a Project Manager ready to handle all project facets.

Location:
Manchester, NH

Our office is located in Manchester’s historic mill yard, occupying 30,000 sq ft on the 5th floor of the original Amory Mill, blending historic charm with modern design.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve excellent financial performance
  • Provide superior client service
  • Lead and assemble project teams to complete complex projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain team engagement and satisfaction
  • Resolve personnel conflicts
  • Lead pursuits of potential projects and develop proposals
  • Monitor and manage project resources, scope, and schedule
  • Utilize management tools effectively
  • Invoice promptly and manage accounts receivable
  • Ensure product quality and develop quality management plans
  • Inform leadership of potential claims or risks and collaborate on resolutions
  • Supervise staff and assist in career development and work assignments
  • Provide coaching and mentoring
  • May serve as a Contract Administrator for construction projects

Requirements

  • BSc (MS preferred) in Civil Engineering
  • 20+ years managing projects and staff, with 5+ years as a PM
  • Experience with DES funding and grants
  • Current PE license in NH, MA, ME, or VT with ability to obtain reciprocal licenses
  • Flexible work schedule and ability to balance technical and management roles
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and grow business
  • Salary dependent on experience
