Senior Director, Multiplatform & Account Management
San Mateo, CA (remote ok, West Coast Preferred)
Overview: Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Management, you will shape and execute the global commercial strategy for Play Station Studios software titles across all digital platforms beyond Play Station hardware, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, Nintendo, and mobile. You will optimize title profitability, ensure cross‑functional alignment, and lead a high‑performing team focused on multiplatform expansion, mid‑range commercial planning, and platform partner management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the out‑of‑year (mid‑range) commercial strategy for Play Station Studios titles across all non‑Play Station platforms, driving long‑term revenue growth and audience.
- Lead the commercial contribution to Play Station Studios’ mid‑to‑long‑range planning, ensuring SIE leadership is informed with data‑driven insights and strategic perspectives.
- Act as the primary commercial liaison and escalation point for Heads of Production and Studio leads, securing alignment and buy‑in on go‑to‑market strategies and publishing policies.
- Partner with marketing, product, and global publishing teams to develop and execute cohesive launch plans and lifecycle strategies for multiplatform titles.
- Lead platform relationships across PC and console ecosystems (Steam, Epic, Xbox, Nintendo), ensuring strong collaboration, promotional effectiveness, and performance optimization.
- Direct and develop a team of senior managers across multiplatform strategy, account management, platform sales, and planning. Direct reports include:
Director, Multiplatform Strategy & Account Management;
Senior Manager, Platform Sales – Xbox & PC;
Manager, Platform Planning & Performance – PC & Xbox. - Contribute to global commercial policy‑setting, advocating for Studio priorities and ensuring alignment with broader Play Station Studios and SIE objectives.
- Accountable for title‑level profitability targets as part of the broader commercial leadership team within the Studios Business Group.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in games publishing, digital media, or platform‑facing commercial roles.
- Proven ability to lead multi‑platform strategy and drive performance across global accounts.
- Demonstrated success working with game development and production stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen to inform strategic planning.
- Experience leading high‑performing teams in a matrixed, global organization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.

Pay range: $246,000—$369,000 USD; bonus may apply.
