Position OverviewAs part of the Siemens EDA Global Sales team, the Strategic Account Director will develop and execute sales strategies and plans for our largest global accounts. You will cultivate customer relationships, promote Siemens EDA software, services, and hardware, and collaborate across a global sales and technical team to support customer initiatives and needs. Your success will be measured by revenue targets and the expansion of business with high‑profile customers.
Responsibilities- Develop the business plan and sales strategies for SEDA products and services, leveraging internal partners across Technical Sales and Finance; regularly communicate the plan to senior leadership.
- Oversee an in‑depth technical execution plan to achieve strategic objectives; track results across a worldwide, cross‑functional team and maintain continuity with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with SEDA executive leadership and customers through regular Management Review Meetings (MRMs) and Technical Review Meetings (TRMs).
- Develop and maintain high‑quality customer relationships.
- Provide insight and visibility to the global account team; establish a vision with measurable goals and objectives.
- Regularly review team results against objectives, recognizing significant contributions.
- Direct senior account management experience in EDA or IC design with a proven track record of planning, negotiating, and closing complex global deals.
- Expert partnership‑builder and relationship manager, capable of quickly building trust with senior leaders and motivating a worldwide, cross‑functional team.
- Excellent business judgment and a history of delivering results that balance company and customer objectives.
- Adept at handling competing priorities and solving problems in a timely manner.
- Outstanding interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills at all organizational levels, including C‑Level leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Primary focus on customers located in the Bay Area, CA.
- Moderate travel expected.

CompensationThe total cash compensation range for this position is $214,400 to $407,500, with 40% of this comprising an annual incentive target. Compensation is based on the successful candidate’s work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and education.
