Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, IT Project Manager

Job Duties

• Responsible for all aspects of a project including technical, contractual, administrative, and financial
• Communicates with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives
• Conducts stakeholder briefings, participation in required meetings, and related project support services
• Submit project deliverables to clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contractual obligations
• Provides quality assurance for all project activity and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks
• Creates project status presentations for delivery to clients or project personnel
• Prepares and submits budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports
• Identifies project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules
• Monitors costs incurred by project staff to identify budget issues
• Develops or updates project plans including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing
• Requests and reviews project updates to ensure deadlines are met
• Plans, schedules, or coordinates project activities to meet deadlines
• Organizes all project work and assigns responsibilities to subordinates
• Schedules or facilitates project meetings
• Monitors the performance of project team members to provide performance feedback
• Monitors project milestones and deliverables
• Identifies, reviews, or selects vendors or consultants to meet project needs
• Telecommuting required, employee must be willing to reside within 50 miles of Manassas, Virginia

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Foreign Equivalent
• 60 months experience as a Project Manager
• Certified Scrum Master
• Certified Scrum Product Owner
• Telecommuting required, employee must be willing to reside within 50 miles of Manassas, VA
• This position requires limited domestic travel 10% of the time
