Environmental Project Manager

Responsibilities- Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single‑discipline projects or large, routine infrastructure projects involving:
- Environmental and land‑use alternatives analyses and siting studies
- NEPA/SEPA documentation
- Federal, state and local environmental and land‑use permit applications and acquisition
- Coordinate the work of professional staff and balance the team throughout the project’s development.
- Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
- Track, maintain and share regulatory changes from federal and state governments.
- Participate in reviews with governing agencies for compliance.
- Conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents in collaboration with other staff.
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to ensure documents are completed on schedule.
- Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to keep within the agreed‑to schedule and budget.
- Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed.
- Collaborate diligently with Water Business Group leadership and partners, WA ES&P BCL and the overall cross‑sector team to elevate practice and project delivery.
- Work in the home office on a weekly basis.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven experience managing environmental review and permitting services for Water Resources, Wastewater or other Water Business Group‑related projects in the Pacific Northwest.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 7 years related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
- Ability to interact with various design teams; excellent organizational, project management and communication (written and verbal) skills.
