THE

OPPORTUNITY

As the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Program Planning, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Chipotle’s supply chain programs. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of Limited Time Offers (LTOs), new product launches, and raw material planning across a complex and rapidly scaling supply network. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, operational excellence, and the ability to manage and lead teams through evolving business needs.

LOCATION

This position will be based in our Newport Beach, CA office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Lead the integrated supply chain planning process for all Limited Time Offer programs from concept through restaurant launch and exit. Develop inventory strategies, production plans, and distribution alignment to ensure flawless execution, optimal in‑stock performance, and minimal waste across the network. Serve as a key liaison with supplier partners, proactively managing performance, capacity, risks, and escalations to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Serve as the supply chain lead within cross‑functional LTO teams (Marketing, Culinary, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Distribution). Translate commercial objectives into executable supply plans, proactively identify risks, and drive mitigation strategies to balance service, cost, and complexity while meeting launch timelines.
  • Develop volume scenarios tied to marketing lift assumptions and operational constraints. Quantify cost‑to‑serve, incremental freight, inventory risk, and obsolescence exposure to inform go/no‑go decisions.
  • Establish scalable playbooks, stage‑gate checkpoints, and supply readiness criteria for LTO programs. Drive planning discipline across cross‑functional stakeholders to improve predictability and execution quality.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities for team members.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, supply chain, or related fields preferred; and/or equivalent experience considered.
  • 5‑8 years of relevant experience in Supply‑Chain Planning;
    Material Requirements, Operations and Production planning, S&OP/SIOP or program management.
  • 1‑3 years of Supervisory Experience required.
  • Six Sigma, APICS or other related professional certification preferred.
  • Systems experience in any of the following a plus: SAP, JDA, Oracle/Demantra, Logility.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and influence cross‑functional decision‑making.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $–$. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
