💸Salary: £26,000 - 28,000 dependant on experience

🧩 Key Role Requirements 📘 Essential Experience- Experience working in a similar role within a busy office or customer service environment
- Ability to contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes
- Confidence in identifying and supporting service improvement projects
- Familiarity with supply chain systems
- Understanding of supply chain functions
- General office experience
- GCSEs (A–C) including Maths and English, or equivalent (O‑Level or NVQ Level 2/3)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Resilient and adaptable to change
- Positive “can‑do” attitude
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong initiative and problem‑solving ability
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and hardworking
- Effective multi‑tasker
- Willingness and desire to learn
THE ROLE
As a Junior Supply Chain Planner
, you’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly every day. You’ll support the team by ensuring materials, information, and documentation flow efficiently across the entire process. From purchasing and logistics to inventory and supplier coordination, you’ll help maintain operational excellence while building the skills needed to grow into a full Supply Chain Planner role.
- Assist the Supply Planner and Analyst with creating purchase orders—sending, confirming, checking acknowledgements, and progressing orders when required.
- Manage the purchasing inbox, including processing Requests to Purchase and New Vendor Requests.
- Help maintain and review purchase order accuracy within Business Central, ensuring data is up to date and discrepancies are flagged.
- Support overdue order progression and maintain strong ERP data integrity.
- Assist the Supply Chain Planner with planning activities, production planning sheets, and necessary ERP updates.
- Support the Supply Chain Team across general day‑to‑day tasks and project needs.
- Liaise with our third‑party warehouse to resolve queries efficiently.
- Assist with administering supply chain documents such as subcontractor onboarding.
- Ensure data integrity across the Business Central system is consistently upheld.
- Undergo targeted training and study to progress into the Supply Chain Planner role.
- Prepare to take ownership of planning and purchasing stock based on business demand as you develop.
