Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving supply chain processes to ensure the efficient flow of goods, services, and information across the organization. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to identify opportunities for cost savings, process optimization, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data, including inventory levels, order patterns, lead times, and delivery performance to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and plan for future supply chain needs.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve operational performance.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships for long-term collaboration.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure that shipments and deliveries meet customer and business requirements, while adhering to schedules and budget.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and order accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics, cost analyses, and process improvements, and present findings to senior management.
- Risk Management: Monitor supply chain risks, such as supply shortages, disruptions, or transportation issues, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements and implement best practices to ensure continuous supply chain optimization and operational efficiency.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that supply chain processes comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (X+ years) in supply chain analysis, logistics, procurement, or a related field.
- Analytical
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret large datasets to identify actionable insights and make data-driven decisions. - Inventory Management: Experience with inventory management systems and techniques to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Supply Chain Tools: Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, Tableau).
- Problem-Solving
Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to address complex supply chain challenges effectively. - Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in analyzing data, managing inventories, and producing reports.
- Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Certifications: Certifications such as APICS CPIM
, CSCP
, or other relevant supply chain qualifications are a plus. - Project Management
Experience:
Experience in managing or supporting supply chain projects, such as process improvements, system implementations, or vendor negotiations. - Data Visualization: Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present supply chain performance and improvement opportunities.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific supply chain practices, such as those in retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce, is advantageous.
- ERP Systems: Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly those related to supply chain management (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
