Are you an inventory and supply chain leader driven by efficiency, data, and impact? Our client, one of Canada’s largest vertically integrated cannabis companies, is hiring a Inventory & Supply Chain Manager to elevate planning performance and reduce waste across their growing operations.
This high-impact, individual contributor role will lead corporate inventory strategy—balancing fundamentals, data, and forward planning across perishable and time-sensitive products. You’ll own optimization across raw materials, WIP, packaging, and finished goods for internal and third-party (3PL) networks.
- Lead corporate-level inventory strategies to optimize turns, service levels, and cash flow across regulated, date-sensitive categories.
- Set and manage inventory planning parameters: safety stock, shelf life, reorder points, MOQs, and service targets.
- Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred) and 3PL integrations.
- Drive KPI tracking: inventory turns, OTIF (on-time, in-full), obsolescence, aging stock, and write-offs.
- Support S&OP processes by interpreting the inventory impact of demand fluctuations and supply risks.
- Own inventory health: proactively identify and disposition slow-moving, at-risk, and obsolete stock.
- Oversee cycle count programs and internal audit controls to maintain inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Procurement, Commercial, Planning, Logistics—to align inventory with production and demand signals.
What You Bring
- 7+ years’ experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or operations, ideally in regulated industries (cannabis, food, pharma, CPG, or tech).
- Strong foundation in inventory theory, supply/demand alignment, and optimization techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (MBA or APICS/CPIM/CLTD a plus).
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and planning analytics.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) and planning software/tools.
- Ability to manage perishable, date-sensitive, or obsolescence-prone inventory.
- No direct reports, but strong influence across teams.
- Must be based in Canada with ability to travel to Kelowna occasionally
- Police background check required.
- Shape the future of cannabis supply chain optimization in Canada.
- Work with a collaborative, data-driven, and mission-aligned team.
- Exposure to multiple categories (cannabis, food, regulated CPG).
- High autonomy and strategic ownership of the inventory lifecycle.
- Competitive Compensation Package:
- 20% annual performance bonus
- Employee pricing on cannabis and alcohol products
