Supply Chain and Planning Specialist
The perfect candidate brings 1–3 years of operational experience in production planning. Essential qualifications include strong practical knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP (MM/PP). The role requires strong quantitative analysis skills and an affinity for data. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory.

- Production Planning & Execution:
Develop and maintain the production schedule for the BGE portfolio to ensure full supply continuity and timely delivery to the Mannheim distribution centre - Inventory & Parameter Management: actively manage semi‑finished goods inventory and regularly review and optimise material requirements planning (MRP) parameters—including safety stocks, lot sizes, and lead times—to balance service levels with inventory targets
- Risk Management & Resolution:
Proactively identify potential supply bottlenecks or capacity constraints. Lead cross‑functional actions with Production, Quality and Procurement to mitigate risks before they impact the market - Master Data Maintenance:
Ensure the accuracy of planning master data within the ERP system to support reliable automated planning runs - Lifecycle Management:
Coordinate material phase‑in/phase‑out activities, minimising obsolescence costs while ensuring availability for new product introductions
- Education & Experience:
A degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management - Min. 1–3 years of operational experience in production planning or material management
- ERP Expertise: A strong practical knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP (MM/PP), with a clear understanding of how master data accuracy drives planning reliability
- Analytical Proficiency: strong quantitative analysis skills and an affinity for data, enabling you to process complex operational information and support decision‑making with solid evidence
- Communication: demonstrate high interface competence, capable of effectively managing stakeholders across Global Supply Chain, Production and Procurement to resolve conflicts
- Continuous Improvement: a proactive problem‑solver who works independently and thrives in a performance‑oriented, dynamic environment
