Litigation Associate - Low Billables, Family

We are assisting a growing civil litigation defense firm in the Bay Area that specializes in defending employment and commercial litigation. The firm was founded in 2024 by a team that had worked together for many years and is intentionally building for the long term.

The firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate to join its employment defense practice. The work is primarily single-plaintiff employment defense, with additional matters involving PAGA, wage-and-hour class actions, and advice & counsel for a sophisticated client base, including well-known regional and national brands.

This role is hands-on and offers real responsibility. The associate will draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, take and defend depositions, prepare for court appearances, and help shape case strategy while working closely with clients and the rest of the team.
