Full Remote - Employment Attorney

About the client

Our clinet is seeking a senior Employment Defense Attorney to join our tight-knit, all-female litigation team. This is a fully remote role for an attorney located within a reasonable distance of Pasadena (Los Angeles or Orange County).

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned employment defense attorney looking for high-level work, competitive compensation, and a genuinely supportive firm culture—without the grind of Big Law.

• Fully Remote (LA or OC based, near Pasadena)
• Billable Requirement: 1,850 hours
• Experience Level:
• 10–15 years preferred
• Will consider up to 20 years maximum
• No less than 10 years required
• Practice Focus: Employment Defense
• Class Action and/or PAGA experience highly valued

• All-female attorney group
• 9 attorneys, 3 support staff
• Attorneys spend approximately 20% on billable legal work and 80% supported by secretarial/legal assistant work
• Fully remote, but highly connected:
• Quarterly in-person gatherings (meals, pickleball, team activities)
• Annual overnight team retreat (past trips include Napa with spa days and shopping)

The client values long-term commitment and consistency.

• 2–3 firms over the past 10–15 years (roughly a 5-year average)
• One short-term role that didn’t work out is okay
• Multiple short tenures are not a fit

The annual salary for this position is between [$200,000 – $300,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
