Part-Time Contract Attorney

Summary

We are an international logistics company seeking an experienced attorney to support our legal team with contract drafting and review, including some interaction with in-house clients. Our operations span multiple jurisdictions, and we require precise, business-focused legal documentation to support global transactions. The Part-Time Remote Contract Attorney will work closely with our General Counsel to draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.

This is a flexible, remote position requiring approximately 3–4 hours per weekday

• Draft and review a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, SAAS license and confidentiality agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in contractual language.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contracts with business objectives.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice on contract terms.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of commercial law; experience in logistics or international trade preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting.
