Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Employment Tribunal Advocate for a full-time hybrid role based in Lichfield, with the flexibility for some remote work. The role involves representing clients in employment tribunals, preparing case strategies, and conducting legal research. The advocate will also provide legal advice on employment law matters to clients, ensuring compliance and successful case outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in employment tribunals and develop case strategies.
  • Prepare pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
  • Negotiate settlements when appropriate.
  • Provide legal advice on employment law matters to clients, ensuring compliance and favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Strong advocacy skills, experience representing clients in employment tribunals, and a solid understanding of employment law.
  • Excellent legal drafting, case preparation, and negotiation abilities to manage proceedings effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research and the ability to analyze complex legal documents and judgments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to explain legal concepts clearly to clients.
  • Ability to work independently and within a hybrid work environment, exhibiting time management and organizational skills.
  • Qualification as a solicitor or barrister in the United Kingdom is required.
  • Prior experience working within a legal team specializing in employment law or tribunals will be an advantage.
