Job Description
Join Allstate's Litigation Services team as a Paralegal Specialist, where your contributions will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes and exceptional service to our clients. This remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact insurance defense cases involving bodily injury claims. You'll take ownership of the litigation life cycle—from answering complaints and managing discovery to preparing for arbitration and trial—with access to hands-on training and mentorship from a collaborative team of paralegals and attorneys.
This role is based in Southern Nevada with occasional in-person meetings required. Experienced candidates outside of Southern Nevada will be considered, but preference will be given to local qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
- Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
- Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures
- Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable
- Handle e-filing in Nevada Courts
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
- Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files
- Participate in monthly in-person team luncheons/meetings
- Will consider, in lieu of certificate, highly qualified, experienced Paralegals with a minimum of 5 years recent Paralegal experience in insurance defense
- ABA approved Paralegal Certificate with a minimum of 2 years experience in civil litigation
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment
- Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
Compensation offered for this role is 28.03 - 42.99 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
