An established legal firm in central Glasgow is seeking an experienced Private Family Solicitor to take a strategic position within their team. This role offers the fantastic opportunity to be supported and funded through the mediationqualification and to provide this service to clients. The firm boasts a friendly team culture and supports hybrid working.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a caseload of private, high-quality work, largely on the contentious side, including high-value divorces, financial provisions involving businesses, and relocation (child law).
• Work autonomously while also accessing support on complex issues from senior colleagues.
• Contribute to the supervision and mentorship of more junior team members.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including support through Mediator qualification.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Family Solicitor, particularly in private and contentious matters.
• Ability to manage a high-quality, autonomous caseload.
• Strong interpersonal skills to mentor junior staff and collaborate with senior colleagues.
• Interest in professional growth through qualifications and continuous learning.
