We are assisting our client in finding an experienced FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL or LEGAL ASSISTANT WITH FAMILY LAW / MATRIMONIAL experience? Our client is a top-rated prestigious family and matrimonial New Jersey law firm. We are assisting our client in locating a dynamic and experienced paralegal with experience as a paralegal working in NJ supporting family, divorce and matrimonial law. MUST be in the New Jersey area!
Your skills will be valued and compensated for! Annual salary varies upon the amount of family law experience you bring to the position.
Hybrid work schedule - work from home and office schedule available.
This is for a multi-office firm. This opening is for the Mt Laurel office. Must have experience supporting Family, Matrimonial and Divorce Law!! Paralegal certification is not required, but a plus!

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2
-3 years of family law experience within New Jersey - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Enjoy interacting with both clients and potential clients as well as all colleagues
- Strong computer skills
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Assist two attorneys by preparing legal documents such as letters, briefs, pleadings, interrogatories, subpoenas, and affidavits for review and approval.
- Manage attorneys' calendars, keeping them informed of deadlines, court appearances, and meetings
- Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, coordinating client meetings, filing motions, and managing witness coordination.
- Facilitate a positive client experience and support clients through difficult emotional times.
- Provide ongoing support to clients even after legal issues have been resolved.
- File all court documents with the appropriate court system and maintain meticulous electronic and paper files for easy access.
- Act as a professional liaison between clients, opposing counsel, and court staff, ensuring high standards of communication.
- Deliver or direct the delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties involved in legal actions.
