A friendly and established Washington, D.C. law firm is seeking a dedicated and driven Litigation Paralegal to support their busy office. This role provides the opportunity to be a part of a close-knit, hardworking team, and serve as a right hand to the attorneys, assisting with cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide substantive support to attorneys specializing in litigation and complex dispute resolution.
- Manage cases from start to finish, including research, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant federal and state court systems and judicial processes.
- Conduct research using Lexis, Westlaw, and various internet search engines.
- Proofread, cite-check and Bluebook legal documents with efficiency and accuracy.
- Utilize litigation technology to manage electronic and hard copy documents.
- Assist with preparing documents, updating calendars, and tracking deadlines.
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and other staff members, ensuring matters are addressed in a timely manner.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced. You are degreed and have a minimum of three (3) or more years of Litigation Paralegal experience. A paralegal certificate is preferred.
- Detail oriented. You are a perfectionist and thrive in an environment where excellent work product is expected, appreciated, and recognized.
- Technologically fluent. You can seamlessly operate on a variety of software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, and Relativity.
- Flexible. You are a team player and willing to work overtime when needed to get the job done.
- Organized. You have strong organizational abilities and enjoy developing systems to streamline processes and procedures. Managing competing tasks and deadlines is one of your strengths.
