WDC Consumer Financial Products and Services Attorney

Paul Hastings is seeking a Contract Attorney or Staff Attorney with at least 15 years of experience providing regulatory and compliance advice related to consumer financial products and services to support our Consumer Financial Services Team in Washington, D.C.

• Must have substantial experience providing regulatory and compliance advice related to consumer financial products and services.
• Must be able to advise on matters implicating federal laws and state law equivalents, including TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, HOEPA, and EFTA.
• Must have significant expertise in residential mortgage origination and servicing.
• Expertise in credit cards and auto lending/servicing also desirable.
• Remote work possible.

Candidates must be admitted to the DC Bar and be in good standing. Please submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $82,000 and a maximum of $142,000 (annually). The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or relevant factors.
