Remote Insurance Coverage Attorney

Overview

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected team, handle sophisticated coverage matters, and enjoy the flexibility of remote work while based in California.

• Advise insurers on coverage issues involving general liability, professional liability, construction defect, and other complex matters.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and denial letters.
• Represent insurers in coverage litigation, including dispositive motions, discovery, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Handle all aspects of case management from inception through resolution.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the California State Bar (in good standing).
• 3–6 years of insurance coverage experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple matters.

The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 and $250,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
