Washington, DC – Commercial Contracting Project Lawyer
The Global Technology, Outsourcing and Privacy Group seeks an experienced attorney in a part-time position to help grow an innovative team serving corporate in-house legal departments. The attorney will work directly with sophisticated clients on client-focused service teams and will manage his or her own matters under the supervision of a managing attorney.
Responsibilities include analyzing, drafting, and negotiating master services agreements, marketing agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, supply agreements, license agreements, SaaS agreements, general terms and conditions, and a variety of other commercial contracts.
OverviewThe successful candidate will be team-oriented with a strong focus on client service. Strong communication and time management skills are required. Four or more years of commercial contracting, procurement, or information technology experience is preferred. The attorney will have access to firm resources, including continuing legal education.

- Analyze, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including master services agreements, marketing agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, supply agreements, license agreements, SaaS agreements, and general terms and conditions.
- Four or more years of commercial contracting, procurement, or information technology experience (preferred).
- Strong communication and time management skills; team-oriented with a focus on client service.
- Ability to telecommute from a home office in the District of Columbia or any U.S. state (excluding California) where the firm maintains an office; must be licensed in that jurisdiction.
- Annual billable hour expectation of less than 1,000 hours; hourly compensation based on experience; not partnership-track or benefits-eligible; flexible hours subject to client needs.

Compensation and Other DetailsAt posting, the expected salary range is $130/hr to $155/hr actual offers vary based on factors including education, training, skill sets, licensure and certification, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
