Position: Associate Attorney Workers Compensation (Remote, California)

Location

Fully remote within California, with occasional in-person court appearances and two firm events per year in Los Angeles.

Note

Must be an active member of the California State Bar with at least 1 year of experience in workers compensation law (plaintiff or defense).

Based in Century City, the firm represents employers, carriers, and third-party administrators across the state. Job Description
  • Manage a caseload of workers compensation matters from start to finish.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
  • Draft legal pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance.
  • Communicate frequently with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to achieve strong case outcomes.
Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of workers compensation experience (plaintiff or defense).
  • Strong writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cases independently and efficiently.
