Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle a variety of personal injury cases in Kentucky, primarily focusing on motor vehicle accidents. The role involves managing cases in pre-litigation, as well as preparing for trial in matters related to other personal injury incidents, such as dog bites and premises liability.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage motor vehicle accident cases in litigation
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
• Guide clients through the legal process and maintain client communication
• Coordinate with expert witnesses, including drafting expert reports and affidavits
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Participate in training programs and seminars outside of regular business hours

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
• At least 2 years of experience in personal injury law
• Member in good standing with the State Bar Association
• Ability to manage an average of 50+ litigation cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
• Self-starter with a focus on long-term career goals

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Skills:

• Proficient in litigation and trial preparation
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload
