What you will do
  • Draft or assist in drafting of pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, privilege logs, deposition summaries, position statements and responses to administrative charges
  • Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, nondisclosure agreements, employee handbooks and policies
  • Cite and fact check, including pulling cases and documentation, Westlaw and PACER research and other research as needed
  • Determine and calendar deadlines

    State and federal e-filing and service
  • Keep informed of developments, procedures and rules in the forums where we practice
Requirements
  • 7+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Paralegal certificate strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, a drive to win, and a sense of humor
  • Knowledge of federal and Texas state court efiling processes and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Westlaw, PACER and eDiscovery platformsli>
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Willingness to occasionally work overtime to meet deadlines after hours
