Musick, Peeler & Garrett LLP has an opening available for a Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join the Costa Mesa office. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and a hybrid position (one (1) day work from home after 45 days), with hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
RequirementsThis position requires solid knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing rules and procedures with a strong litigation background that includes e-filing and calendaring experience. Must have knowledge of preparing tables of contents and authorities. Must have excellent proofreading and writing skills, and great attention to detail. Excellent administrative, follow-up, initiative, and organizational skills are required. Excellent typing, formatting, and computer software skills needed with specific knowledge of Word 2010 or higher, Outlook, Excel and iManage or similar document management system.
Knowledge of Compu Law, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, and CCC Macros are a plus.
