Position: 100% Remote Attorney - Construction Defect

Overview

Deposition Attorney - Contract Project (April Start)

Location: Remote (California‑barred; PST candidates preferred)
Compensation: $45-$50/hr
Duration: 4-6 months
Hours: Full-time, approx. 40 hours/week
Openings: 5 attorneys
Experience: 1-3 years

About the Project

A large, fast‑moving construction defect matter requires additional attorney support to handle a high volume of homeowner depositions. This project will begin in April and involves conducting 400+ depositions over a 4-6 month period. We are seeking five California‑licensed attorneys with civil litigation and deposition experience to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct remote depositions of homeowners involved in a construction defect case
  • Review case materials and prepare for each deposition accordingly
  • Maintain consistency and professionalism across a high‑volume workflow
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and project managers
  • Track time and tasks according to project guidelines
Qualifications
  • Active California bar license (required)
  • 1-3 years of civil litigation experience
  • Previous deposition experience required
  • Remote work capability;
    PST time zone strongly preferred
  • Strong organization, communication, and analysis skills
