PJI Law, PLC, a boutique, service-focused, and fast-growing Virginia law firm, is looking for another kind, smart, and motivated attorney to join our wonderful team in our new Richmond location. We are looking for a full-time, Virginia-licensed attorney with experience in estate planning who has a desire to be part of our Richmond success story!
Our firm exists to help those who wish to plan for the legal protection and security of their families, sometimes in the wake of a personal loss, and this position is crucial in allowing us to effectively help them.
This position is ideal for an attorney who would enjoy the opportunity to focus on the interesting parts of estate planning, namely conducting design sessions and plan reviews with clients, while relying on a fantastic support team to handle the remaining aspects of the client journey. We have a happy team and a structure that gives our attorneys access to a stable, reliable, and growing support staff for assistance.
This allows our attorneys to focus on their core talents and work efficiently.

- Experience in estate planning, particularly in revocable trust preparation and trust funding.
- Experience in taxable estates, special needs trusts, and/or in MAPTs is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to genuinely connect with clients and potential clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to closely follow established policies and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, including impeccable spelling and grammar.
- Ability to multitask and to be flexible.
- DC and/or Maryland licenses are a plus, but not required.
Compensation includes a base salary and bonuses, which together would be in the range of $125,000 - $150,000, with additional specialty compensation in the $20,000 - $50,000 range if the attorney commands expertise in a relevant specialty such as taxable estates or MAPTs.
