Our client is a global law firm with a highly regarded and expanding real estate practice in Washington, D.C. The team advises developers, investors, lenders, and corporate clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and leasing, supported by the firm’s full-service corporate, finance, and tax platform.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Provide comprehensive real estate support for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and development projects
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, real estate development documentation, leases, and ancillary agreements
- Conduct and manage all phases of real estate diligence, including title and survey review
- Support lender-side finance representation and other complex transactional matters
- Work on specialized matters including multi-family, industrial, technology, and sports facility projects
- Collaborate across practice groups on integrated, transaction-driven matters
- Take on increasing levels of responsibility and direct client contact under senior attorney guidance
- Midlevel associates (approximately 4–5 years of real estate transactional and development experience)
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across core real estate documents
- Experience with title and survey review, real estate finance, leasing, joint ventures, and development matters
- Comfortable managing complex transactions with multiple stakeholders
- Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
