As the firm continues to scale its litigation support capabilities, this role plays a key part in strengthening internal workflows and supporting the legal team through reliable, detail-oriented paralegal assistance.

The Global Legal Assistant role at Moore, O'Brien & Foti is integral to enhancing the efficacy of our litigation process, particularly within our personal injury practice. This position is crafted to support the legal team and alleviate the workload on our in-office staff, thereby significantly increasing overall efficiency. By handling paralegal-level tasks, you will be pivotal in ensuring our clients receive prompt and accurate service, helping us maintain our high standards of legal excellence.

What you’ll do:
  • Task Management: Conduct paralegal-level work, focusing on case file organization and supporting the litigation workflow.
  • Communication: Efficiently assist with document preparation and correspondence to ensure smooth legal transactions.
  • Case Management: Work within our case management system, Litify, to maintain up-to-date information and case progression.
  • Litigation Support: Provide detailed support in legal research and drafting as required by attorneys.

What we’re looking for:
  • Experience: 3–5 years paralegal experience in a personal injury setting preferred.
  • Bilingual

    Skills:

    Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Technology Familiarity: Experience with Litify or similar case management systems a plus; training available.
  • Remote Work Readiness & Reliability: Ability to work U.S. hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST), with reliable access to necessary technology and demonstrated success working independently in a remote, structured work setting.
  • Legal Background: Understanding of U.S.

    -based legal systems, with a preference for prior work in an American law firm.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability and commitment to task execution and client service excellence.
