Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Litigation Legal Assistant based in Burlington, VT, with some flexibility for remote work. The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys, including preparing legal documents, managing case files, coordinating schedules, and assisting with case research. Responsibilities also include communication with clients, managing deadlines, and maintaining organized documentation to ensure efficient operations within the litigation team.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of Law and experience in Legal Assistance
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and ability to manage case files
- Skills in Administrative Assistance and Calendaring with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with litigation processes and legal terminology
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience in a law office or legal setting is preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
