As a civil litigation Associate Attorney at Morrison Mahoney LLP, your role is dynamic and engaging, offering a perfect mix of independent responsibilities and collaborative teamwork. You will manage your own caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while meticulously adhering to deadlines. • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar are essential prerequisites.
• 2 to 10 years of experience handling Automobile and Premises Liability cases, preferably defense.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, along with the ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests.
• You should be a self-starter with strong advocacy skills.
• Taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions will also be part of your role, making attention to detail and effective communication key attributes for success in this position.
