Compensationand Benefits

ADay in the Life of an Associate Attorney
As a civil litigation Associate Attorney at Morrison Mahoney LLP, your role is dynamic and engaging, offering a perfect mix of independent responsibilities and collaborative teamwork. You will manage your own caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while meticulously adhering to deadlines. Your days will be enriched by preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials, granting you invaluable courtroom experience.
Collaboration is crucial in this role, where you ll engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies. Clear and regular communication with clients will be essential, as you provide them with updates and interim written reports on their cases.

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar are essential prerequisites.
- 2 to 10 years of experience handling Automobile and Premises Liability cases, preferably defense.
- Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, along with the ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests.
- You should be a self-starter with strong advocacy skills.
