Compensation: $100,000 – $275,000 base salary + bonus

The Role
Our client, a national Am?
Law 100 firm, seeks Healthcare Litigation Defense Attorneys in California. Attorneys in this role will focus exclusively on healthcare defense matters, including professional liability claims, regulatory defense, and general liability matters within the healthcare sector. The position offers remote work flexibility with occasional office appearances.
- Manage healthcare defense litigation matters from discovery through trial preparation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other defense-focused legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and factual analysis to support defense strategy.
- Collaborate with senior defense attorneys and internal teams on healthcare matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings related to healthcare defense.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license required.
- Litigation experience preferred, especially in healthcare defense or professional liability defense.
- Strong analytical, research, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple healthcare defense matters independently while collaborating with a team.
- Handle high-profile healthcare defense matters nationwide with flexible remote/onsite arrangements.
