• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS and vendor contracts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives
• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including intake, negotiation, execution, and reporting
• Maintain and enforce legal processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Lead strategic initiatives, including the implementation of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of experience practicing law, with at least 2+ years of in-house experience
• Expertise in commercial contracting and corporate law, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector
• Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory issues relevant to health and student data
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills

• Experience integrating AI tools into legal workflows, such as contract review automation
• Strong problem-solving orientation with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive mindset with comfort managing ambiguity and building processes from scratch
