You’ll join a busy family team with a clear focus on legal aid domestic violence matters
, with scope to support supervision and help shape best practice as the team grows.

As a Family Solicitor, you’ll manage a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on legal aid DV work, while contributing to team capability and supervision support.

• Running your own family law caseload with a focus on legal aid domestic violence
• Supporting supervision and day-to-day guidance within the team (where appropriate)
• Advising clients with empathy, clarity, and strong technical judgement
• Contributing to team growth and service quality (including business development where aligned)

Essential

• 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience)
• Family Law Panel Membership (required to support supervision)
• Strong experience handling legal aid family matters
  , particularly domestic violence
• Confident, client-first communication and solid file management

Preferred

• Experience across broader family work alongside legal aid
• Interest in developing a profile/following (not essential, but advantageous)
• If you’re 5–7 PQE
  , a clear ambition to develop longer-term (including business development) is important

• Office-based with up to 2 days per week working from home (max)

• £55,000–£75,000+ (dependent on experience and overall fit)
