LEGAL DOCUMENT PRODUCTION SPECIALIST – 6-MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

SALARY RANGING £44,000 to £49,000 (Depending on Expertise) + EXCELLENT BENEFITS
09.30am to 5.30pm - Monday to Friday with Hybrid Working Pattern

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract to work on a specialist project for this prestigious City Law Firm. You will need to have advanced skills and be a technical whizz, exhibiting both strong IT and Document Production skills gained ideally within a Law firm, and able to commit fully to the project until completion.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Document Production with relevant industry experience within a Law firm or Internal Legal Department, although applications could possibly be considered from professional Services if you can demonstrate the skills required. You will have the ability to working across all levels of the business, preferably within a multi-jurisdictional environment, IT, and Knowledge. This is a busy, fast-paced role which will require a proactive and motivated approach to manage a busy workload whilst remaining calm and focused under pressure.

As a Document Production Specialist, you will encompass:- Producing and amending correspondence, documents, reports, attachments, from a variety of sources, following the in-house style, and in line with the firm's specific systems/procedures
- Producing and amending PowerPoint presentations, organisational charts, mail merges, Excel spreadsheets, and graphs and offer advice on document layout and reformatting options and precedent documents
- Maintain the firm's precedent bank to ensure that all documents are maintained in the firm's house style and are consistently updated upon instruction from the departments
- Using systems effectively to prioritise and complete incoming work
- Proof reading and checking documents to ensure that they are correct, in line with house style and, where applicable, attachments have been highlighted to PAs
- Keeping service users updated on the progress of their work
The Document Production Specialist will need to be able to demonstrate advanced IT skills, meticulous attention to detail, problem solving skills and strong working methodologies with the ability to turn work around effectively, accurately, and efficiently ensuring delivery of a high‑quality service.
You will also have:- Previous Document Production experience of working in a fast‑paced legal environment
- Strong technical skills and ability to strip document formatting and reformat in house style
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise well and work to deadlines
- First class customer service skills and problem‑solving abilities
- Proactive team player with an enthusiastic manner, who has a flexible, ‘can‑do’ approach to work
- Excellent at prioritisation of workload and meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills, literacy, and numeracy, with close attention to detail
- Advanced MS Office knowledge, Big Hand, Research Tools, and minimum typing speeds of 65wpm
- Minimum 5 GCSE's Grade C or above or equivalent/ although flexible if highly experienced
As well as a competitive salary and benefits, the successful Document Production Specialist will also have the opportunity to work a hybrid pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 working from home with hours of 09.30am-5.30pm.
