Associate Attorney

Job Description

I am working with a boutique firm in Orange County, CA that is growing and looking to add an Associate Attorney to their practice. A successful candidate will enjoy working with a small team, enjoy mentorship, gets excited about the opportunity to grow and handle multiple types of cases. This is a hybrid role with a casual dress code. If you want to in a dress or suit, that is totally fine but know that jeans and a t-shirt is totally acceptable!

Billable hour requirement is 1700 hours and if you bill more than the 1700, you will receive clear bonuses. Also, I suppose it would help if you have an interest in baseball, because they work with a couple of professional baseball teams.

About the role-

• Working with two partners handling general liability, business litigation, attorney and accountant malpractice defense and some probate litigation
• 1700 hours- bonuses after 1700 hit
• Hybrid- starting 4 days on site for the first month, then less days on-site, depending on how employee manages working at home
• Laid back in-office culture- jeans and t shirt kinda place unless you have to appear
• Would like someone with one year of insurance defense litigation experience
• Full benefits
• Ideal candidate brings 2+ years civil litigation experience
• Admitted in CA

Compensation will depend on a combination of education and experience. Full benefits and bonus structure in place.
